Collection: The Denim Collection

Made from well-loved jeans and other denim garments, this collection celebrates everything I love about working with old materials—the faded colors, worn edges, salvaged seams, pockets, patches, and little signs of a life already lived.

Each Denim Oddkin was created slowly and intuitively, with the materials guiding who they wanted to become. I incorporated the unique details of the original garments—buttons, rivets, hardware, frayed edges, pockets, and seams—into each character’s design, letting these elements contribute to their personalities and give the whole crew a distinctly scrappy, edgy aesthetic.

The result is a cool, rough-around-the-edges bunch of one-of-a-kind characters who may look a little tougher than their woolly cousins, but are every bit as squishy and lovable.

Denim is not a material I usually work with (and likely won’t use again), making this a particularly unusual and limited Oddkin collection.
