How do I buy Oddkins?

Oddkin Studio is a one-woman operation. I work slowly and intentionally, creating small batches of work that are released through periodic shop updates, known as Oddkin Drops. Each drop is announced first by email, giving subscribers the first opportunity to adopt a new friend. Drops typically last for about a day, after which the shop closes until the next release. Do you take custom orders?

Yes! Contact me and let's chat about your project. 

How much do your Oddkins cost?

My large Oddkin dolls vary in price based on time, complexity, and materials. They generally range in price between $190 and $230. Minis and Tooth Fairy Oddkins are priced between $38 and $56. Occasionally, I also offer discounted work to my e-mail subscribers.

Do you ship internationally?

No, I’m not set up for international shipping at this time. Sorry!

Can I share or sell creations made using your patterns?

Yes! You are welcome to share your process or finished creations online (such as on social media), and I’m always so grateful when you credit Oddkin Studio and link back to my Instagram or shop so others can find the original pattern. Finished items made using this pattern may be sold on a small scale. However, they may not be sold under the name “Oddkins,” as this is a trademarked name. You will need to use your own branding when naming and selling your creations.

Can I sell your pattern or sell kits that use your pattern? 

All Oddkin Studio patterns are my original work and are protected as intellectual property. The PDF pattern and its contents may not be copied, shared, redistributed, or resold in any form, in whole or in part. That said, I do offer licensing arrangements for makers who'd like to include printed patterns in physical craft kits. If you're interested, contact me to discuss options!

Where do your materials come from?

I use a mix of reclaimed and recycled materials, including wool garments and other thoughtfully sourced fibers. You can learn more about how I source my materials in this Instagram post.

How should I care for my Oddkin?

Oddkins are securely stitched but are intended for gentle companionship or display, not rough play. Each one is a soft sculpture (rather than a toy) designed to be a lasting keepsake.

Are Oddkins safe for babies or toddlers?

Some pieces include small details like buttons, which may pose a choking hazard. For this reason, they are not recommended for babies or young children.

Are your materials allergen-free?

All recycled materials are clean and washed before use. However, because they are reclaimed from a variety of sources, I can’t guarantee they are completely free of allergens. Those with strong sensitivities may not wish to purchase my repurposed art.

What is your return and exchange policy?

I want you to truly love your Oddkin. If, for any reason, your new friend doesn’t quite make your heart melt, I accept returns within 7 days of delivery. Items must be sent back in the same condition they were received. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Once your Oddkin has safely made its way back home, a refund will be issued (excluding original shipping costs).
