Meet Delia the Oddkin Frog!

This bright-eyed frog wears her heart on her pocket and a little raspberry kiss on her lips. Her plaid body, made from a cashmere scarf, brings together teal, pink, and soft purple, topped with a sweater-cuff collar and minty vintage lace trim. Details include mismatched arms in pink polka dots and turquoise, wool-ball-and-button eyes, a hand-crocheted yarn mouth, and a hand-sewn heart appliqué. Little patches at her knees complete the scrappy charm.

Delia is also an example frog for my latest batch of Oddkin Frog Maker's Bundles, made using the exact same reclaimed materials included in the Raspberry & Mint colorway.

About the Kindred Creatures: The Kindred Creatures are the kooky, scrappy animal friends of the Oddkin monsters, pieced together from fabric scraps and salvaged bits in resourceful and unexpected ways. Soft, silly, and a little odd, they share their monster kin’s expressive details and peculiar personalities.

A Note About Beans: I use dry beans or rice in my Oddkins because I prefer to use non-plastic materials. When kept dry, dried beans do not inherently create a mold or pest problem. Giving a new purpose to pantry staples too old for eating is part of my resourceful Oddkin ethos.
