Hopper the Oddkin Frog

Meet Hopper the Oddkin Frog!

Wide-eyed and wonderfully mismatched, this frog looks ready for a very slow stroll through the autumn leaves. A cozy plaid body brings together mossy greens, rusty orange, and brown. Details include a yarn mouth, hand-cut thick wool fingers and toes, hand-sewn heart appliqué on the cheeks and leg, a small crocheted flower brooch salvaged from a hand-crocheted garland, and a sweet little knee patch to complete the scrappy vibe.

Hopper is also an example frog for my latest batch of Oddkin Frog Maker's Bundles, made using the exact same reclaimed materials included in the Autumn Leaves colorway.

Are you crafty? You can also make your own version of this frog using my Oddkin Frog Sewing Pattern PDF.

About the Kindred Creatures: The Kindred Creatures are the kooky, scrappy animal friends of the Oddkin monsters, pieced together from fabric scraps and salvaged bits in resourceful and unexpected ways. Soft, silly, and a little odd, they share their monster kin’s expressive details and peculiar personalities.

Details:

• Handmade by Katie (a.k.a. Mama Oddkin)
• Upcycled from reclaimed wool
• Tummy pocket for tiny treasures or tooth fairy visits
• Sits approximately 13 inches tall
• Comes with a collectible character card
• Legs lightly weighted with dry beans

A Note About Beans: I use dry beans or rice in my Oddkins because I prefer to use non-plastic materials. When kept dry, dried beans do not inherently create a mold or pest problem. Giving a new purpose to pantry staples too old for eating is part of my resourceful Oddkin ethos.

Shipping: Ready to ship from my home studio within 3–5 business days. Each Oddkin arrives with its own name and story tag, ready to begin its next chapter.

Safety Note: Due to small parts and reclaimed materials, this Oddkin may not be suitable for babies, toddlers, or those with strong sensitivities. Please review the FAQ before purchasing.

Return Policy: Returns accepted within 7 days. See FAQ for full policy.
