Meet Sugar the Horse!

Sugar is a sweet, scrappy patchwork treasure and the only one of her kind. An early unicorn prototype from the Kindred Creatures family, she is made from super-soft, quilted patchwork cashmere body panels in numerous shades of pink. Button-attached legs give her an extra bit of old-fashioned charm, allowing her to stand (precariously...) and sit adorably. She has a tummy pocket for little keepsakes or tooth fairy visits, a hand-embroidered sleepy eye, and plenty of heart appliqué.

Katie ultimately set this design aside as the official Oddkin horse design because it was too labor-intensive and complicated to recreate or turn into a pattern. But Sugar remains a labor of love, ready for a good home where she can be loved and treasured.

About the Kindred Creatures: The Kindred Creatures are the kooky, scrappy animal friends of the Oddkin monsters, pieced together from fabric scraps and salvaged bits in resourceful and unexpected ways. Soft, silly, and a little odd, they share their monster kin’s expressive details and peculiar personalities.
