Meet Squiggle.

Squiggle is one of the original Grouchlings — and arrived in full Oddkin Couture. A black wool body panel decorated with bold white rickrack coordinates perfectly with the intact black rickrack trim salvaged from a thrifted white dress repurposed into this ensemble. With strange upholstery fringe for hair, soft cashmere arms (also decorated with rickrack) hand-sewn face details, and enormous wool claws.

About the Black & White Collection: What started as one experiment quickly became twelve. A single black-and-white Oddkin unlocked something — suddenly, a whole cast of characters was emerging from long neglected wool. My growing pile of grey, black, and white scraps had been quietly waiting for their moment, and for me to realize their potential.

The result is a kooky cast of characters united by their shared refusal to be boring, with a wide range of personalities. There’s goth, romance, Oddkin couture, playing cards, checkerboards, graphic patterns, formality, and drama. Creative surface details and unexpected pattern mash-ups transform those once-overlooked scraps into bold little works of art, each punctuated with a different pop of color.
