Meet Taffy the Oddkin Horse!

Taffy is a huggable rainbow daydream. She’s pieced together from a variety of reclaimed cashmere sweaters in sunny yellow, turquoise, lavender, lime, and orange. Her wild mane and tail are created from equally soft salvaged sweater seams and scraps, individually placed and hand-sewn. Details include blue button nostrils, mismatched ears and feet, wool felt heart appliqués, and ribbed sweater cuffs repurposed into her collar. Gloriously colorful, endearingly tousled, and ready for super soft snuggles from snout to hooves.

About the Kindred Creatures: The Kindred Creatures are the kooky, scrappy animal friends of the Oddkin monsters, pieced together from fabric scraps and salvaged bits in resourceful and unexpected ways. Soft, silly, and a little odd, they share their monster kin’s expressive details and peculiar personalities.

A Note About Beans: I use dry beans or rice in my Oddkins because I prefer to use non-plastic materials. When kept dry, dried beans do not inherently create a mold or pest problem. Giving a new purpose to pantry staples too old for eating is part of my resourceful Oddkin ethos.
