Meet Tux!

Tux is dressed to impress from horn to claw. His body is constructed from ivory and black wool, dapper suit edges crisp with black binding tape trim. His cashmere horns curve above a hand-constructed wool felt top hat. Playful pops of mismatched houndstooth on his leg and ear keep things a little bit fun beneath the formal exterior. Complete with a wool felt bow tie and red wool-and-button boutonnière.

About the Black & White Collection: What started as one experiment quickly became twelve. A single black-and-white Oddkin unlocked something — suddenly, a whole cast of characters was emerging from long neglected wool. My growing pile of grey, black, and white scraps had been quietly waiting for their moment, and for me to realize their potential.

The result is a kooky cast of characters united by their shared refusal to be boring, with a wide range of personalities. There’s goth, romance, Oddkin couture, playing cards, checkerboards, graphic patterns, formality, and drama. Creative surface details and unexpected pattern mash-ups transform those once-overlooked scraps into bold little works of art, each punctuated with a different pop of color.
