Every Oddkin is designed and handmade by me in my one-woman studio, using thoughtfully sourced reclaimed textiles and a slow, intuitive process. From sourcing and preparing materials to designing, sewing, hand-finishing, each Oddkin represents many hours of skilled creative work. Their prices allow me to make my work sustainable, support myself as an independent artist, and continue giving beautiful pre-loved materials new life as one-of-a-kind companions. 

How I Price My Oddkins

Oddkin prices vary to reflect the labor, complexity, and materials that go into creating them. For example, my denim Oddkins are made from inexpensive, readily available materials, but denim is a tough fabric and difficult to work with, making these characters especially labor-intensive to construct and placing them in my highest pricing tier. Ragglewumps and Oddkin Frogs on the other hand, tend to fall at the lower end of my price range because of their simpler construction (no ears or horns) which makes them quicker to sew. Oddkins made from rare, luxury reclaimed wool (like cashmere and angora) are also at the higher end of my pricing.
